Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus
members have a say in how the chorus is run. The organization
functions under the Talk of Tulsa Standing Rules and Covenant
(written and approved by the members) and under the bylaws of Sweet Adelines International.Five members
are elected to serve on the Management Team to oversee the
functional aspects of the organization. The positions are Team
Leader, Performance Coordinator, Finance Coordinator, Membership
Coordinator, and Member-at-Large. The Director is also a member of
the Management Team and oversees the Music Staff. Members volunteer
to serve on committees to support the Management Team.
The Management Team meets once a month and
develops long-range plans based on the goals and values of the
chapter membership. They assist, oversee, and evaluate the
implementation of plans and actions of the associated committees.
The team is responsible for fostering and ensuring open and frequent
communications at all levels of the chapter. All chorus members are
encouraged to take an active part in the organization.
