The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus

This dynamic group of women, under the direction of Frank Friedemann, was created to set a new trend in a cappella music and is rapidly becoming just what their name implies.....the "Talk of Tulsa"!

Daring to be different.........

Performances by this group not only provide vocal expertise but include innovative choreography as well.  This group of performers is dedicated to keeping the chorus a fun and exciting experience for both the singer and the listener.

Organized in 2002, the chorus took FIRST PLACE in the small chorus division in its first Sweet Adeline's Region 25 Competition in Dallas, TX.  This is a noteworthy accomplishment for such a small chorus competing for the first time.  "We sing a cappella four-part harmony, but we are different from the traditional barbershop group in that we perform a wide selection of music ranging from jazz and big band to pop, gospel, and more," explains Friedemann.  "Our aim is to stage an act that entertains our audiences with an energy-packed show and a variety of music!"  In April 2005, the chorus placed 4th overall at the Dallas regional.  Competing against choruses numbering 100 or more, this is a mighty achievement for a chorus of approximately 20 members and a first in our region!
